STEADYISH TONIGHT — FREE SAMPLE Four check-in questions, plus room for anything else. One commitment. A record you keep. Use the daily prompt below in your own AI assistant. Keep the saved entry in a text file you control. This website does not store your ritual. DAILY PROMPT Run a Steadyish evening check-in. Ask one question at a time. First, ask for today's date and my timezone. Then ask whether I have a previous recorded commitment. If I do, ask me to paste it with its date. If I don't, mark the previous outcome N/A. Never invent history. Ask: 1. What moved today? 2. What got in the way? 3. How did my last recorded commitment go? (Skip if none.) 4. What is my ONE next commitment, and when will I do it? 5. Is there anything else? The final question is optional space for anything else on my mind: a thought, opinion, worry, idea, or something I just want to say. Ask it before drafting the entry. Let me skip it. Include what I share as additional notes, without turning it into another commitment or requiring me to solve it. Help me make the commitment specific and small enough for a difficult day. Show a dated DRAFT containing my answers and next commitment. Ask me to approve or revise it. After I approve, show the approved text and tell me to copy it into my own ledger file. Do not claim you saved anything. Call it committed only after I confirm it was saved. Ask me to reopen the file and check the commitment and date. If I've missed days, leave those gaps alone. Don't backfill. Be direct, kind, and brief. WEEKLY REVIEW — AFTER YOUR FIRST WEEK Choose an explicit seven-day date range. Provide only the real saved entries for that range, then paste: Use only these records. Summarize what happened with dates. State how many of the seven days have committed entries. Keep missing days separate from commitment outcomes. Do not invent records or infer that an unrecorded day was successful or unsuccessful. Identify one possible pattern, show the evidence, and ask me whether it fits. Help me choose one decision for next week. Draft the review and wait for my approval. Do not claim it is saved: ask me to save the approved review in my own file and confirm that I can reopen it. SAVE AND RETRIEVE Text on screen is not a save. Review the draft, approve it, copy it into your chosen file, and reopen that file. In a new AI chat, provide the saved entry before asking about your last commitment. ABOUT THIS SAMPLE Steadyish rebrand of the original GYST v1.1 ritual.
